Floating Beam & Shelf Bracket – FB

Create a concealed support for a wooden beam or shelf with the FB floating bracket from VDS Metalworks. Steel pins project from a wall plate and fit into drilled holes in the timber.

Materials and finish

Choose a wall plate made from 5 × 50 mm or 6 × 40 mm steel flat bar. The pins are 16 mm in diameter and project 90 mm from the wall. Other pin lengths can be made on request.

Choose your size

Bracket width: 500mm, 1050mm, 1150mm.

What you receive

The selected steel bracket design and size. Wooden shelves, beams, mantels and decorative items shown in the photographs are not included.

Installation

Choose fixings suitable for your wall construction and shelving. The supported weight depends on bracket size, wall construction, fixings, shelf material and installation.

Check the timber thickness and depth against the pin diameter and projection before ordering. Accurate drilling is needed to fit the pins into the timber.
